【セッションタイトル】 アクセシブルで素敵なウェブデザインを紹介するギャラリーサイト「AAA11Y Accessible Website Gallery」のご紹介 はじめまして。 株式会社トルクの阪口と申します。 今回はこの時間をいただいて、私たちトルクが運営するギャラリーサイト｢AAA11Y Accessible Website Gallery」をご紹介したいと思います。 まず、その前に私たちについて、簡単にご紹介させていただきます。 私たち株式会社トルクは「デザインの力で情報格差をなくす」ということをミッションにかかげて活動する、デジタル領域を専門としたデザインファームです。 私たちは、表層的なビジュアルだけをデザインと捉えず、意志、意図、言葉、体験、プログラム、システム、動きなど、人の営みを豊かにする創造の全てをデザインの対象と捉えています。 その中でもウェブアクセシビリティをデザインの重要な要素の一つと考えて、日々制作に取り組んでいます。 代表的な制作実績としましては、クラウド人事労務ソフトのSmartHRさんが主催する「働き方改革の取り組み」を表彰するアワード「WORK DESIGN AWARD」の公式サイトになります。 こちらはWCAG2.0レベルAA準拠を目標としたウェブアクセシビリティとデザイン性が評価され、第10回ウェブグランプリ「アクセシビリティ賞 優秀賞」をいただきました。 今回ご紹介する「AAA11Y｣は、このような制作の中で知り得た優れたサイトや、私たちのミッションを多くの人たちと共有したいと考えて立ち上げた、ギャラリーサイトになります。 ではサイトのご紹介をしていきたいと思います。 この「AAA11Y Accessible Website Gallery」では、アクセシビリティへの配慮がされた優れたウェブサイトを多数紹介しています。 キュレーションの特徴としては、視認性、可読性、操作性、音声読み上げへの対応といったアクセシビリティへの配慮はもとより、 サイトに内包しているコンテンツのトーンにあったビジュアルデザインの両立がなされているか、ということを掲載の基準としています。 機能面の特徴としては、通常のギャラリーサイトにある「カラー」「カテゴリ」｢タイプ」などフィルター機能に加えて、「ウェブアクセシビリティ基準の対応レベル」の項目も設けていますので、 皆さんのニーズに合ったアクセシブルで素敵なウェブサイトを簡単に見つけることができます。 また、各サイトのアクセシビリティポリシーのリンクも掲載していますので、発信元のアクセシビリティへの取り組みを知ると同時に、ウェブデザインとしてそれがどのように表現されているのかを知ることもできます。 それでは一つ事例として、掲載しているサイトの中で優れたサイトも紹介したいと思います。 こちらはスキンケア・ヘアケア商品が代表的な「ユニリーバ」さんのサイトになります。カラフルな配色で、ユニバーサルな事業と企業文化を表現されており、なおかつWCAGが定めるコントラスト比にきちんと対応しています。 もちろんキーボード操作にも対応しており、細かなところではメインビジュアルのイメージムービーに、音声読み上げに対応したサマリーテキストも用意されています。こういった細やかな配慮はぜひ参考にしたいところです。 このように「AAA11Y」では、ウェブアクセシビリティに対応した優れたサイトを多数掲載していますので、例えば、ウェブ制作会社の皆さんには、参考デザインの取集やワークショップ・勉強会の教材として、 また、企業の皆さんには、自社のアクセシビリティ対応への普及材料として、ぜひこのサイトを活用いただければと思っています。 実際に私たちの会社でもキュレーションにあたって、デザイナー・エンジニア・ディレクターといった職種や、新人・ベテランといったキャリアの差にこだわらず、 社員全員で掲載サイトを探しキュレーションすることによって、社員全員でアクセシビリティへの知見を深め、それをデザインする上での工夫を共有することができています。 このように、このサイトを様々なシーンで利用していただき、ウェブアクセシビリティとデザイン性の両立が多くのサイト実現していくことを望んでいます。 また、この「AAA11Y」では、自選多選を問わず掲載サイトを募集しております。推薦いただいたサイトに関しては、私たち編集部の判断で掲載可否を検討させていただいておりますので、 応募イコール掲載ということではないのですが、ぜひご応募ください。 最後に、先ほど、私たちは「デザインの力で情報格差をなくす」ということをミッションとしているお伝えしましたが、その一歩は誰にでもできる小さな心配りからだと考えています。 皆さんとこのギャラリーサイトを通じて、より多くの人たちがウェブサイトを快適に使えるようになることを目指しています。ぜひ「AAA11Y Accessible Website Gallery」を多くの方に利用していただけると幸いです。 ご視聴ありがとうございました。 （以下より英文のテキスト） Pleasure to meet you. Not only focusing on surface-level visuals, but we also consider everything that can enhance human life through creation, including will, intent, language, experience, program, system, and movement, as objects of design. Among those, we believe web accessibility is an essential element of design and implement it on our production every day. "WORK DESIGN AWARD," an award for promoting "work style reform" hosted by SmartHR, a cloud-based HR and labor management software company, serves as one of our representative production achievements. This website (WORK DESIGN AWARDS) was aiming for WCAG2.0 level AA compliance, was evaluated for web accessibility and design, and received the "Accessibility Award Excellent Award" at the 10th Web Grand Prix. "AAA11Y" that we are introducing today is a gallery site launched to share many excellent sites we have learned during our productions and to share our mission with many people. Therefore, let me introduce the site. "AAA11Y Accessible Website Gallery" showcases numerous of excellent websites that consider accessibility. Aspects of the curation include standards for publishing. Meaning, not only considering accessibility, such as visibility, readability, operability, and support for voice narration, but also in achieving balance between visual design that matches the tone of the content contained in the site. In terms of functionality, in addition to the standard filter options such as "color," "category," and "type," we also provide "compliance level to web accessibility criteria" option, so that users can easily find an accessible and stunning website that fits their needs. The gallery site also provide links to “accessibility policy” of each site, so users can learn about the selected websites accessibility effort and how it is expressed as web design at the same time. This is the official website of Unilever, a company specializes in skincare and hair care products. It expresses the company's universal business and corporate culture with colorful colors and is also compliant with the contrast ratio specified by WCAG. Now, I would like to introduce one of the excellent sites among those posted as an example. Of course, it also supports keyboard operation, and in detail, the main visual image movie has a summary text that supports voice reading. We hope you will refer to these amazing details. In our company, we curate and collect websites by involving all employees regardless of their positions such as designers, engineers, and directors, as well as their career levels, from fresh graduate to veterans. By doing so, we can deepen the knowledge of accessibility among all employees and share design ideas.
